And since we are talking about a scandal, there is one that has been very followed on social networks and it concerns the story of the sextape of Mathieu Valbuena. It is in 2015 that the former Marseille player receives phone calls from blackmailers who claim to have a sextape from him and his wife. They claim 100,000 euros from the footballer not to resell or destroy the content of this video. Mathieu Valbuena then files a complaint for “attempted extortion”.
A few months later, Karim Benzema learns about this sextape story. He then recommends that his teammate talk to one of his friends. Except that the latter, Karim Zenati, is an intermediary contacted by the two alleged blackmailers. Karim Benzema is then indicted for “complicity in attempted blackmail and participation in a criminal association”.

And 6 years after the start of this case, the justice delivered its verdict. After two days of hearing, the prosecutor requested a heavy sentence for Karim Benzema with 10 months suspended sentence and 75,000 euros fine. For the moment, the Real Madrid player has not spoken …
