Jensen Ackles has landed a new role in season 3 of The Boys! Is it possible that his Supernatural co-star Jared Padalecki is joining him?
After spending a decade and a half hunting monsters on Supernatural, Jensen Ackles is following the show’s creator to Amazon for another collaboration. It was announced earlier in the week that Jensen Ackles has been cast as the original superhero Soldier Boy in Season 3 of The Boys. This new role allows him to be reunited with Eric Kripke. The team behind Supernatural has long seen themselves as family and Eric Kripke has made it clear that he wants to work with his former co-stars on other projects. This casting of The Boys proved it. But then, Could Jared Padalecki, Jensen Ackles’ sidekick in Supernatural soon follow his brother on screen in Eric Kripke’s new project?
After fifteen seasons side by side in supernatural, fans dream of finding Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki reunited for a new project! Eric Kripke has stated on several occasions that he is also trying to involve Jeffrey Dean Morgan in The Boys. Before playing Negan in The Walking Dead, the actor played Sam and Dean Winchester’s father in supernatural. So if Eric Kripke is successful, at least two out of three Winchesters will appear in The Boys. It would be surprising if he didn’t try to reunite Jared Padalecki too! The only obvious problem with the cast of Jared Padalecki is his busy schedule. Sam’s performer landed the lead role in the reboot of Walker, Texas Ranger for The CW! For the moment, nothing has been confirmed but while waiting to know more, find out what the powers of Soldier Boy could be in season 3 of The Boys.
