Legendary Pokemon are coming to Pokemon Go! In this new season, prepare to face iconic opponents and mythical creatures. We tell you everything you need to know to become the best trainer of the Season of Legends!
As trainers around the world eagerly await a live stream this week to celebrate 25 years of the Pokemon franchise, it’s a whole new era kicking off on March 1 for Pokemon Go players. Indeed, the Season of Festivities is coming to an end and Niantic is already preparing to celebrate legends. Until June 1, many Legendary Pokemon will thus make their appearance within the mobile game. You will be able in particular cross for the first time the totemic forms of the fifth generation Pokemon Fulguris, Demeteros and Boreas. Various Mega Evolutions will also be added to Mega Raids, during the season. During these 3 months, you will also benefit from bonus XP on 5-star raids, and you will sometimes have the possibility to obtain Free Raid Passes in the Shop.
For Season of Legends, you will come across different Pokemon depending on your environment. Near to water points, you will meet for example Viskuse and Démanta, while Chaglam and Voltorbe will wait for you within big cities. And if you are lucky enough to be able to walk around in the countryside or in the forest, do not hesitate to look up to see Granivol. Many species will now be specific to a hemisphere. In France, you will be able to cross Saquedeneu, Apitrini, Cradopaud, Couaneton, Tortipouss, Ouisticram, or even Tiplouf. A Vivaldaim in its spring form will also hide in nature alongside Minidraco, Doudouvet and Insécateur. Finally, if you are lucky enough to be able to travel, take the opportunity to catch Férosinge, Yanma, Mustébouée, Chovsourir, Vipélierre, Gruikui, Moustillon, Pomdepik, Draby, and Grindur. And don’t forget to find out about the featured Pokemon during Pokemon Go Community Day in March.
This season will also bring changes when it comes to eggs. If you walk 2km, you will have a chance to get Arcko, Poussifeu, Gobou or Rozbouton. The 5km eggs will contain Soporifik, Azurill and Munnan, while Ningale and Mamanbo will hide in the 10km eggs. Finally, you can take part in a Special Study centered on Fulguris, Démétéros and Boréas. Of course, many events dedicated to the Legendaries will be added between March 1 and June 1. It seems that Niantic still has many surprises in store for trainers! Finally, while waiting for this Season of Legends, you can always get started in Pokemon Sword and Shield DLC available for sale on Eneba.
