It is accurate for MultiVersus, the famous fighting game that brings together the licenses of Warner Bros. Still officially scheduled to launch in 2022the free-to-play game developed by Player First Games has chained the closed alphas these last months. We were then able to try it out and deliver a preview rather enthusiastic. All players will now be able to get their hands on it during an upcoming open beta.
MultiVersus: all the info on the open beta
The most motivated will be able to launch themselves into the arena from July 19 (6 p.m.) as part of early access. To take advantage of it, you will either have to have participated in the previous closed alpha, or get access thanks to the Twitch Drops.
The real launch of the open beta will take place July 26 (6 p.m.): everyone will be able to access it on PC (Steam), PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series. Important details: there is no no end datethe beta being intended to be updated over the months with new content, and all of your progress will carry over when the game officially releases.
Warner Bros took the opportunity to broadcast a gameplay trailer revealing a new character: the iron giant, from the 1999 film of the same name. It will be playable during the open beta, just like Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman and Harley Quinn (DC); Sammy and Vera (Scooby-Doo); Bugs Bunny and Taz the Tasmanian Devil (Looney Tunes); Arya Stark (Game of Thrones); Jake the dog and Finn the human (Adventure Time); Steven Universe and Garnet (Steven Universe); Tom & Jerry and finally an original creature named Chien-Renne. That is 16 characters in total.
All these little people will be able to compete on eight different maps, including the Batcave (DC), the Tree-House and the Haunted Mansion of Scooby (Scooby-Doo). In terms of game modes, we will find 1vs1, 2vs2, each for himself with 4 players, a Lab for training and local matches.
