Whether it’s on Google Maps or Microsoft Flight Simulator, we always have one idea in mind, and that is to find our house on the map. So obviously, for all those who have tested Asobo’s flight simulation, we must offer you a dedicated guide.
Microsoft Flight Simulator was released on August 18 for PC, and is included with Xbox Game Pass. And we know that the main goal for everyone is to find our house on the map. To do this, we suggest that you follow these two steps below to the letter. Nothing too complicated, just don’t get confused in the numbers.
1- RECOVER YOUR CONTACT INFORMATION
First stop, destination Google maps. Type your address in the search bar on the left. Once your destination has been found, make a click right above. Selected “More info about this place” to see the exact coordinates. Here, for the Eiffel Tower, we obtain for example 48.858495, 2.294403. Click on these numbers to have an overview on your left. Copy line of numbers in bold, that which indicates cardinal points.
2 – ENTER THE DETAILS IN THE GAME
Now that it’s done, go directly to the game. In the homepage, select World Maps. You will see the world appear and on the left, a small search bar. This is where you have to paste your coordinates retrieved from Google Maps. A blue point will appear on the globe and suggest that you define the place as the starting or ending point. We advise you to choose it as the point of arrival, and to take as a departure a building or a nearby airport. This way you will get a better overview of your house than if you were floating directly on it. Click on Start the flight, and good travel.
As a reminder, the game will be available later on Xbox consoles. Moreover, we finally know the release month of the Xbox Series X.
