The 100 season 7: Episode 2, survival of Octavia, functioning of the Anomaly … All these very important details that should not be missed

Didn’t you understand everything in episode 2 of season 7 of The 100? Here are some explanations.

Episode 2 of season 7 of The 100 was broadcast a few days ago on the CW but we still have a hard time understanding a lot of the things that happened there. Between the different chronologies, the passages in time and space, the different planets and the new characters who arrive from the future, it was not the disturbing elements that were missing. So we’re trying to help you get a little clearer with these explanations.

Eligius missions and their inhabitants

We have known for several seasons that Eligius missions have been launched in which prisoners have left aboard ships to go to mines far away from Earth. The Eligius IV mission was led by Diyoza and found itself on Earth at the end of season 5. We know from Raven that the Eligius I and II missions were also intended to take prisoners into mines. And we know thanks to Monty that the Eligius III mission aimed to discover a new habitable planet.

Hope, Diyoza and Octavia on Skyring (Beta)

During the Eligius III mission, 5 teams were sent to 5 different planets named after the Greek alphabet: Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Delta and Epsilon. The Alpha team landed on the planet Alpha (which is actually a satellite) which became Sanctum, and therefore became the original Premiums. The Beta team crashed on the Beta planet with only one survivor: Colin Benson. It is on this planet that Diyoza and Octavia landed while crossing the Anomaly, planet which they renamed Skyring (the ring in the sky). We therefore know that a passage exists between Sanctum (Alpha) and Skyring (Beta) thanks to the Anomaly. A third planet is inhabited by the “Disciples” who kidnapped Bellamy and his name is Bardo. According to episode 2 of season 7 of The 100, the Anomaly also connects Skyring and Bardo.

The difference in time between Skyring and Sanctum

Octavia leaves in the Anomaly

In “The Garden”, Gabriel, Echo and Hope learn thanks to the memories of Colin who make Becca return (the original ALIE) that the 5 planets chosen for the Eligius III mission are near a black hole, hence a difference in flow of time between them. Skyring is the furthest from the black hole, so time is the slowest on the latter. We thus learn that if only 6 seconds elapse on Sanctum between the departure of Diyoza in the Anomaly and that of Octavia, on Skyring 3 months have passed since the time is “dilated”. When Octavia reappears on Sanctum, only 12 seconds have passed for Bellamy, Gabriel and the others, while on Skyring Octavia has just lived 10 years of her life.

The Anomaly as a “bridge”

Clarke and the others in front of an Anomaly stone

The third essential thing to know is that the Anomaly is actually a kind of “bridge” between the 5 different planets of the Eligius III mission. People who walk in it will therefore be transported to another planet, but another means allows to travel: the “stones” of Anomaly as we see in episode 2. The functioning of these “stones” depends in part on a kind of chronometer placed on the arm of people traveling from one planet to another. But many questions remain unanswered and it is clearly hoped that the next episodes will give more explanations.

Lost: A reboot in preparation? The showrunner responds

Fans dream of it, but is it possible that a Lost reboot is in the works? The showrunner answered this question!

As we know, reboots, remakes or even spin-offs and revivals are the big trend of the networks. Many cult series have had the right to a second life. Obviously, there is a show that draws all the attention and that fans would like to find on the screen. It is about the Lost series which ended on a very conflicting finale which left as many questions as answers … If noises were born concerning a reboot of Lost since some actors would be leaving, the producer Executive and co-creator of this emblematic series, Damon Lindelof, confided in the potential of a reboot, and his response was surprisingly positive …

A new adventure for the missing?

During an interview with, the showrunner of Lost, Damon Lindelof, raised the possibility of a reboot of the series: “We had such an opportunity to do whatever we wanted in it. This is, once again, another situation where, for someone who entered and worked in the worlds of Alien, Star Trek and now Watchmen, the idea that I created an original IP in Lost that someone else could put their creativity on, I would really like to see more of Lost. I would love to see what others would do with it. I just feel like I got my crack and it’s time for the old man to step down and let someone else take the reins. It would be cool if there were more Lost, but, again, I don’t think it should be me. “. The good news for those hoping for a reboot is that the co-creator of such a success would like to see more Lost. The catch is that Damon Lindelof himself is not interested in being part of this adventure and prefers to see how others would manage the intrigue. But then, will someone embark on such a project? Lucifer season 5: could Maze become human?

According to a fan theory, the demonic Maze could turn into a human in season 5 of Lucifer. And God could be there for something!

It’s now official: Tom Ellis has just signed for a season 6 of Lucifer ! But before the release of this new chapter, fans are eager to discover the fifth season of the series, which is already the subject of much speculation. As Lesley-Ann Brandt has already explained on numerous occasions, the arc of his character Maze will be largely developed in this sequel. The demon plot promises to be tumultuous and should end with “a lot of tears”. Will Maze cry for joy or sadness? Fans think they know the fate of Lucifer’s friend: she would be on the verge of becoming human in this season 5.

Maze in Lucifer

According to a fan theory published on Reddit, Maze would be transformed into a human thanks to God in the next episodes. The problem is that as a demon in Lucifer, she has no soul. This means that once dead, Maze will therefore neither go to Hell nor to Paradise. Sad fate for this character who has evolved enormously over the seasons! If God transforms her into a human, he would offer her a soul and therefore eternal life. “Maze has gone from an emotionless, hedonistic and selfish demon to someone who has strong ‘human’ emotions, who fights for the people who are dear to him. She is totally different! God will give Maze a soul by recognition of her changes and her efforts. Clearly, he will save her “, theorizes the fan. For now, this is only speculation, but it is true that we hope that a nice destiny awaits Maze in future episodes. It remains to be seen if she is not one of the 3 characters likely to die in season 5 of Lucifer on Netflix!

Outlander season 5: Sam Heughan confides in a drama that he narrowly avoided on the set

Sam Heughan escaped the worst … Besides, the actor made some confidences on a drama which he narrowly avoided on the shooting of season 5 of Outlander!

Season 5 Outlander, (like the rest of the series), was overwhelming. The Fraser family faced new tragedies and no one was spared … Roger was hanged, Brianna was kidnapped by Stephen Bonnet, Claire was sexually assaulted and Jamie … almost died many times! If the character of Jamie was in great danger in this season 5 of Outlander, Sam Heughan also avoided the worst. Thinking about the Season 5 Finale Outlander, actor Sam Heughan revealed a disaster that took place on the set and that the fans had not seen coming …

At the start of season 5 Outlander, Jamie put a cross on a hill at Fraser’s Ridge. Once lit, this cross would signal Jamie’s men to take up arms and go to war. He also lit it to save his wife Claire. However, Sam Heughan revealed that the scene in which he lights the cross did not go as planned … Speaking during a question and answer session on Twitter with W Network, the actor said he got a little too close to the burning cross: “Haha yes I had to turn it on myself and I got too close at one point. Eyebrows and hair started to sing … “. An anecdote that he is not ready to forget but there has been more fear than harm. Pending details on upcoming episodes, find out if Claire and Jamie Fraser’s deaths have been confirmed in Outlander.

The Umbrella Academy season 2: Time of arrival, weapon, dangers … All the clues revealed by the new posters

In the absence of a trailer, Netflix has released the official posters for season 2 of The Umbrella Academy. Discover the crisp clues left by these posters!

The next episodes of The Umbrella Academy will arrive on July 31 on Netflix, and to make fans wait, the streaming platform has shared the official posters of this season 2. The least we can say is that they are full of clues about the following the adventures of superheroes. And we were right on one point: the time and place of the intrigue of season 2 of The Umbrella Academy. See the outfits worn by the Hargreeves, our superheroes seem to have gone back in time in the 1960s or 1970s. Which would mean that future episodes would be mostly inspired by the original work Dallas, a comic book in which a lot of things are happening!

Ben in The Umbrella Academy The Umbrella Academy season 2 - Klaus in The Umbrella Academy The Umbrella Academy season 2 - Allison in The Umbrella Academy The Umbrella Academy season 2 - Klaus in The Umbrella Academy The Umbrella Academy season 2 - Diego in The Umbrella Academy The Umbrella Academy season 2 - Vanya in The Umbrella Academy

Other fans have detected an additional clue about the era of this next season: Netflix did not publish the posters in chronological order of siblings. This time, this series of posters was unveiled under the numbers 6, 4, 3, 1, 2, 7 and 5. When sharing the official photos last February, everything was in a logical order. Is Netflix trying to send us a coded message? For fans, this combination could tell us the time and date of arrival of Hargreeves in season 2. This would give: 6:43 a.m. on 2/1/75, a few years after the predicted date. Others believe that these figures could reveal the order of arrival of the Hargreeves in the chronology. Ben Hargreeves, back in season 2 of The Umbrella Academy, would be the first to disembark and Five, at the origin of this time travel, the last. It is true that we do not know if the brothers and sisters will land together after this journey to the past!

Allison in The Umbrella Academy

Other visual elements draw our attention: Allison no longer has her curly hair (well, this is only a detail), but above all she no longer has a scar on her neck! Remember, Vanya had cut her throat in Season 1, and such an injury doesn’t go away overnight. Will she be able to speak again? In the original comics, Allison regains her power when the members of the Commission restore her vocal cords using their advanced technology. Maybe history will repeat itself if season 2 follows the history of Dallas ? Finally, in addition to an umbrella, Diego seems to hold another object in his hand. It could be a knife – his favorite tool – but it seems longer and thinner. Why would the young man have a gun in his possession? He could be in serious danger!

Five in The Umbrella Academy

The last clue left by these posters is the dried blood on Five’s face. The young superhero smiles, as if satisfied with the situation. In the comics Dallas – whose plot takes place in the 1960s – Five prepares to kill John F. Kennedy but finally decides to jump in time to find his family. He doesn’t hesitate to kill his critics, so maybe the dried blood on his face belongs to one of them. With all these clues, we understand that season 2 of The Umbrella Academy will be strongly linked to the comics Dallas, and that it promises to be full of twists and turns!

Friends: Joey, the spin-off with Matt LeBlanc, soon on HBO Max?

Good news for absolute Friends fans: the new HBO Max streaming platform could soon offer Joey, the spin-off of the cult series with Matt LeBlanc.

If HBO Max has unveiled a new shooting date for the special episode of Friends, it is that fans of the cult series are impatient to see the six actors gathered on the film set! But let it be said, this meeting is no more than that: a meeting where Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matthew Perry, David Schwimmer and Matt LeBlanc will discuss fiction and share anecdotes from behind the scenes. However, the streaming platform wishes to go further into the universe of six friends and would seek to acquire the rights of Joey, the spin-off of Friends, which directed Matt LeBlanc.

Matt LeBlanc in Joey, the spin-off of Friends

If after the broadcast in 2004 of the last episode of the popular friendly series, the majority of the main actors wanted to distance themselves from the roles that made them known, the interpreter of Joey Tribbiani continued to take the reins of a new program focused on his character. Unfortunately, the fiction did not have the expected success and after two seasons, the NBC chose to cancel it. However, the spokesperson for HBO Max believes that Joey would represent a good addition to its catalog and an interesting addition to Friends, whose “honest” trailer reveals the faults of the series, especially since the adventures of Chandler’s roommate are not even offered on DVD!

The Walking Dead season 10: the series is not about to stop according to this new information

Season 10 of The Walking Dead is not yet over and the series clearly still has a bright future on AMC according to this news.

While we are still waiting for the broadcast of episode 16 of season 10 of The Walking Dead on OCS, we are revealing to you today some good news about the series. Yes, despite audiences that have been declining for several seasons and some of the worst records in seasons 9 and 10, The Walking Dead should still have a bright future ahead of her on AMC. According to The Hollywood Reporter, The Walking Dead was the most watched cable series in 2019-2020, thus placing itself in front of many competitors and offering first place of the podium to the AMC chain.

Judith grimes

Even though it has not yet been broadcast in full, season 10 of The Walking Dead drew an average of 5.4 million viewers including replays until d + 7. Even if these figures are far from the record audiences of the series in its best seasons, we must admit that we are happy to know that it remains the most watched on cable of the year 2019-2020. The arrival of Angela Kang to the position of showrunneuse marked a marked improvement in the quality of the plots, and keeping the series afloat after 2 more than disappointing seasons was no easy task. We therefore continue to hope that quality will bring back quantity, while also hoping that The Walking Dead will know when to stop.

Netflix: Should the post-apocalyptic series alarm us about the future?

Should post-apocalyptic series sound the alarm about the future or be considered pure entertaining fictions?

Into the Night, The rain, Snowpiercer, Daybreak… All of these Netflix series have one thing in common: dealing with post-apocalypse life. Yes Daybreak decides to entrust a group of teenagers with the management of the world, only a few passengers will try to survive in Into The Night on Netflix or even Snowpiercer. Whether by a realistic approach or on the contrary completely fictitious, should we decode certain messages in these series? Should we realize that these scenarios are avant-garde of what awaits us in the near future? Regarding the representation of post-apocalyptic series, there are two weights, two measures, and we will try to explain why.

The representation of the apocalypse has intrigued filmmakers around the world for years. And for good reason, apart from what is said in religious texts, no one has any idea what it could represent. How would it happen? Are there humans left on earth? We don’t know. And yet, god knows that it arouses curiosity! The directors of films and series on the subject have understood this well: they are there to create fiction, but are very much inspired by religious texts to echo what people already know. Admittedly, series of the genre are flourishing more and more on streaming platforms, and some might see this as a red flag. “What do we want to make us understand? Are we approaching the end of the world? Do these shows serve to prepare us for the worst?”, wonder some fans on social networks.

On this point, everyone is free to think what they want. What we notice all the same, is that these shows generally have one common element: the human being responsible for the end of the world. Almost every time in these Netflix series (or others), the planet is killed by Man. Obviously, this reflects millions of years of bad behavior: the earth was slowly killed because of the excessive life world of humans (pollution, overproduction, overconsumption …). If the intrigues of the shows do not really focus on this point but rather on “after the apocalypse”, the causality is identical. What necessarily echo with the world today: global warming, radioactivity, increased disease, melting glaciers, endangered species … We must admit, our world is bad. Has humans become the worst enemy of planet Earth?

In Daybreak, humans must survive after a nuclear explosion, in Into The Night, the sun has become destructive to the planet, in The rain, the end of the world is caused by a virus carried by the rain, while Snowpiercer tells of a new ice age with outside temperatures around -50 °. What can scare us in these shows is that their intrigue takes place in maximum 50 years. Why not imagine a far more distant end of the world? Is it to make the scenario more plausible? However, some series are inspired by books written several years ago. Difficult to know what to think about it. Has the treatment of the post-apocalypse world always fascinated us for a long time or is it a way of alarming us about the dangers to come?

And it is at this precise moment that conspiracy theories come into play. For some, cinema is only used to prepare people’s brains, but without being as brutal as information given to the news. And for good reason, the messages are passed in the form of entertainment, with special effects and star cast to embellish everything. Once the events in question happen, humans will tell themselves that “it is not so serious, because we saw it in such film with Will Smith, for example”. We can obviously not say if they are right or wrong because everyone is free to think what they want but it is true that some films or series have already seen “right” about what would happen in our society. Without going as far as the apocalypse, we can see that certain scary episodes of Black mirror are becoming a reality. The invasion of robots, drones everywhere above our heads, the development of artificial intelligence, nanos chips implanted in the body, the rating of citizens by the State, the increase in voyeurism on the internet … Certain intrigues of films or series of the time are clearly becoming reality. This is why some people doubt the “visionary” side of the filmmakers.

It is for all these reasons that there are double standards concerning the real role of series. If the filmmakers are necessarily inspired by a minimum of current events to write their scripts, we must not forget that their first mission is to entertain us. Certain intrigues can necessarily lead us to question ourselves: “What if tomorrow’s world looks like this? What if we too should manage the end of the world this way?” It is intriguing and that is necessarily what also makes our series so exciting. After all, will we really have the answer one day? Asking questions about our favorite programs is obviously plausible, but it would be a shame to demonize them. It is important to be aware of certain winks made in our series, but it is equally essential to take a step back when it is necessary. And you, do you think that post-apocalyptic shows alert us to the future?
